An amazing end to The Irish Drift Championship took place at Mondello Park on 27th Sept bringing drivers from all over the world to battle .. From Formula Drift to British Drift Championship drivers they came to beat the Irish Unbeaten streak ...here are some action shots from qualifying & sudden death battles.
IDC Round 3 2015 Global Warfare 2
Irish Drift Championship kicked off the 2015 drifting season with its first event at Mondello Park in Ireland. The IDC definitely was Bringing the Noise with Rain, Mud, Rubber, smoke and tons of great drivers and cars battling for the first points of 2015 in Pro and Semi Pro action. The awesome Mark Hanney of Drift Addicts was there to catch the action for us!
Another legend of Irish drifting will return this season as fan-favourite Christy Carpenter has announced he will return and challenge for the IDC Pro Championship. Details on what Carpenter will drive are sparse but expect big power and big impact when the Co. Clare native returns to the grid this season.
The IDC will rock the 2,000 seater Green Glens Arena in Millstreet, Co. Cork on June 6th/7th and create drift history once again.Think motorsport event/ concert / madness/ smoke/ lasers/ walls/ start-line outside/ finish-line-inside....
